Elaine had twenty-odd years of client-side experience holding senior and Board-level sales and marketing positions, in a variety of businesses, mainly in financial services and retail energy. Most recently: • Divisional Director (Marketing and Corporate Strategy) for Chelsea Building Society • Retail Director for the Ecotricity Group • Sales & Communications Director for Bristol Energy. Since early 2017, Elaine has been working as a management consultant helping a variety of clients across diverse industries (incl. accountancy, education, health care, recruitment and white goods) grow their businesses. She is experienced in developing, managing and advising ambitious and high-growth businesses at every stage of their journeys. Elaine founded Canny Conversations in March 2019, to offer a mix of communications strategy, culture change and people development solutions. Her aim is to help you to focus your people on your key priorities – and reduce the wasted time, effort and cost that can come from poor interactions. She is I also a part-time Non-Executive Director at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – which is one of the largest hospital trusts in the NHS.
